There are some spectacular wedding venues in Scotland, but Sprinkell must be up there with the best of them. Daniel and Heather were lucky enough to photograph Fiona & Michael’s beautiful Springkell wedding last year, and I hope you agree that the photos speak for themselves! The building has real character and a sense of grandeur which extends to the beautiful grounds – perfect for taking photos!

Taking wedding photos in Springkell is a real joy as there are just so many different locations to choose from, both inside and out. And when you have a couple like Fiona & Michael it makes things even easier!

We were capturing both Bridal Prep and Groom Prep, and it’s lovely to see photos of the girls getting ready whilst the boys are hanging out playing snooker. What I love about these photos is that they show that, despite the grand surroundings, this was a relaxed wedding with everyone just having a lot of fun.

It was clear this was going to be a chilled out day when one of Michael’s ushers came skipping down the aisle at the start of the ceremony throwing rose petals around!

There were so many lovely details in this wedding, and the flowers (Flowers by Joan) were stunning. We were also lucky with the weather – blue sky all day!

Daniel & Heather really captured the personalities of both Fiona & Michael, as well as the beautiful surroundings of Springkell. From start to finish this was a special wedding – I love those dancing photos at the end!
